At the start of the new 2019 NFL season, the Kansas City Chiefs are the new favorite to win the Super Bowl at 5/1 odds. The New England Patriots were the favorites at 6/1 before a slew of bettors backed the Chiefs just before Week 1.
According to the Westgate SuperBook, the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears are the top favorites out of the NFC at 12/1 odds.

With everyone on the Baker Mayfield/ODB bandwagon, the Cleveland Browns are a popular pick to win the Super Bowl at 18/1.

The New England Patriots are a beatable team in September. Bill Belichick is thinking about the long haul with an emphasis on winning the Super Bowl. You can’t win the title in September, but you can definitely lose one if you jump out to an 0-4 start.
The Pats host the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1 in Foxboro on Sunday Night Football. Tom Brady and the Pats are a 6-point favorite. The Steelers will be showcasing a team that has since shed holdout Le’Veon Bell and traded Antonio Brown to the Oakland Raiders.

The Kansas City Chiefs were as low as a field goal favorites over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1. The Jags offer a home-dog alert at +3.5.
However, is the market overvaluing the addition of Nick Foles? Foles worked his magic in Philadelphia the previous two seasons as a valuable backup to Carson Wentz. However, he has yet to play a game with the Jags. Then again, anyone is an upgrade compared to Blake Bortles.
The Chiefs boasted the top offense in the NFL last season. Patrick Mahomes and company posted 35 points per game and cranked out 426 yards per game. The Jags defense has to show up like the 2017 squad and Foles has to jumpstart the offense if the Jags want to keep pace with the Super Bowl favorites.
Andy Reid and the Chiefs begin the season with three road games in September. Next week, the Chiefs fly out to the Bay Area to take on Jon Gruden and the Oakland Raiders. The Chiefs host their home opener in Week 3 against the Baltimore Ravens, before hitting the road in Week 4 to play the Detroit Lions.
