For Week 4 of NFL DFS, I’m concentrating on a few expected shootouts featuring teams where defenses go to die, along with a value play sprinkled in here and there. Russell Wilson, in particular, looks to be in a great spot this week.
Quarterbacks
Russell Wilson, Seahawks ($6,100 on DraftKings, $7,800 on FanDuel) – If you don’t play Pat Mahomes – because, let’s face it, he’s always in play – then you should probably be on Wilson, who has turned out a solid 29.7 DFS points per game, and now faces a Cardinals defense that has been destroyed every week.
Running backs
Mark Ingram, Ravens ($6,600 on DK, $7,800 on FD) – After a down Week 2 against the Cardinals, as Lamar Jackson torched Arizona with his arm, Ingram bounced back with a big day against Kansas City – amassing 103 rushing yards on 16 carries with three touchdowns, while also catching four passes for 32 yards. He now goes up against a Browns defense that is third-worst in the league against opposing running backs.
Wayne Gallman, Jr., Giants ($4,600 on DK, $5,800 on FD) – Value alert on Gallman, filling in for Saquon Barkley, who will miss at least a month with a bum ankle. Barkley was high-priced, not only because he’s a beast of a running back, but also because he got so many touches each game. Gallman should see the same against the Redskins this Sunday.
Wide receivers
Keenan Allen, Chargers ($7,600 on DK, $8,100 on FD) –  Allen is already getting massive attention from quarterback Phillip Rivers, averaging nearly 10 receptions per game, but with San Diego’s depleted receiving corps, he should only see more on Sunday. Plus, he’s facing the Dolphins. Have you heard about how bad Miami stinks?
Tyler Lockett, Seahawks ($6,300 on DK, $6,600 on FD) – If you’re going to play Wilson, you might as well pair him with a receiver, and Lockett has certainly caught the QB’s eye this year. Lockett has 22 receptions through three games, including 11 on 14 targets last Sunday against the Saints. He may very well fill out the stat sheet in a shootout.
Tight end
Will Dissly, Seahawks ($3,600 on DK, $5,400 on FD) – The Cardinals defense has made every tight end they’ve faced this season look like an All-Pro, and Dissly was the second-most targeted pass-catcher for Seattle last week. With his price, he could easily smash 4x value. You’ll probably want to play Lockett or Dissly, if not both, this week.
Defense
Chargers ($3,800 on DK, $5,300 on FD) – When determining your D each week, just start with whoever is playing the Dolphins. Perhaps you’ve heard they stink?
