We are entering college football’s stretch run, as there will be just one more week before conference championship games begin. The day slate features plenty of interesting matchups, and I’ll focus mostly on the Big 12 as I craft my DFS lineups.

Chuba Hubbard
Oklahoma State running back Chuba Hubbard has been a beast this year, running for 1,726 yards and 20 touchdowns through 10 games. He’ll be a key component of DFS lineups again this Saturday. (Image: Forbes)

Quarterbacks

Charlie Brewer, Baylor ($7,900 on DraftKings, $10,100 on FanDuel) – Brewer has become one of the most dangerous dual threat quarterbacks in college football, and he passed and ran for two scores each last week against Oklahoma. Saturday’s opponent, Texas, is just 301st in college football against opposing QBs in DFS.

Malcolm Perry, Navy ($7,800 on DK, $9,900 on FD) – Perry is an intriguing option this week. SMU is poor against the pass, but Perry runs the option, and the Midshipmen rarely toss the ball. The Mustangs are pretty good against the run, but many teams with good run defenses still get gashed by the option. Vegas expects a high-scoring matchup, so Perry is worth a look for a roster spot in DFS lineups.

Running backs

Chuba Hubbard, Oklahoma State ($8,900 on DK, $10,800 on FD) – The Cowboys love to feed this beast, so it’s hard not to roster him nearly every week. Hubbard is averaging nearly 26 carries and more than 172 yards per game, with 20 TDs on the season. He’s averaging a whopping 34.1 DFS points per game on DK. West Virginia is unlikely to slow him down this week. Put him in most of your DFS lineups.

Darius Bradwell, Tulane ($4,900 on DK, $6,900 on FD) – The Green Wave senior saw plenty of action last week against Temple, with 18 rushes for 63 yards and a TD. The increased action was largely due to the absence of Corey Dauphine, who was out with an injured wrist. Dauphine is out again this week as Tulane takes on UCF, so look for Bradwell to tote the rock plenty.

Wide receivers

Drake London, USC ($4,700 on DK, $7,200 on FD) – One of the better value plays on the slate, London has turned it on late in his freshman campaign. He’s caught touchdown passes in three consecutive games, and had six receptions for 111 yards and a TD against Cal last week. USC faces a UCLA defense that ranks just 237th in college football against opposing wide receivers in DFS.

Denzel Mims, Baylor ($6,600 on DK, $8,700 on FD) – Mims got shaken up late in the game against Oklahoma last week, but is expected to play on Saturday against Texas. Mims has become the Bears’ top deep threat, catching five touchdown passes from Charlie Brewer in the past three games. The Longhorns’ D is a big part of why the team isn’t meeting expectations in 2019. You will want plenty of shares of Mims in your DFS lineups this Saturday.
