Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick is regarded as the best talent in his generation.
The 15-year-old seems destined to join an English club in the near future, as Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United have all made important steps in their attempt of signing him. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have also kept tabs on him, but are said to have already lost the battle with English clubs because of the transfer fee set by Palmeiras.
Endrick has been watched by scouts from all over Europe at the Copinha in Sao Paulo, one of the most renowned youth tournaments in the world. The teenager won the best player and goal of the tournament awards. Endrick scored five times over 90 minutes spread across three games. His opponents were all older than him. Current transfer rules prevent him from leaving Brazil until he turns 18, but he is allowed to reach a pre-contract agreement with any club as soon as he turns 16. According to Sky Sports, Manchester City and Chelsea are best positioned to sign Endrick, but Manchester United and Liverpool are not out of the race either.
Palmeiras already value him at around $45 million, $10 million more than Manchester City paid them to sign Gabriel Jesus in 2016. The Brazilian club sees Endrick as the kind of player who can stand out globally and reach the same status as the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Endrick is a Real Madrid fan and is represented by the same agent as Vinicius Junior.
Palmeiras has told his representative that he can hold talks with the European clubs that are interested in the player.
