“I feel great and I am excited to win trophies with the club. It’s a happy day for everyone,” Salah told liverpoolfc.com. “It takes a bit of time, I think, to renew, but everything is done so we just need to focus on what’s next,” the forward said.
Salah says he’s optimistic about the team’s future, based on its recent performance.
“Last season we were close to winning four, but unfortunately in the last week of the season we lost two trophies,” Salah stressed. “I think we are in a good position to fight for everything. We have new signings as well. We just need to keep working hard, have a good vision, be positive and go for everything again.”

Back in the hunt for the Premier League and Champions League trophies
Salah holds the record for most goals scored during a 38-game season after netting 32 times in his debut 2017-18 campaign for Liverpool. He went on to win two more Premier League Golden Boots in 2019 and 2022.
Last season, he scored 31 goals in all competitions for Liverpool, who won both domestic cups, but who lost the Champions League and Premier League titles by small margins. Salah is ninth on the list of Liverpool’s all-time top scorers.
Over the years, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, and Paris Saint-Germain were all rumored as potential future clubs for Salah, with the player not discouraging gossip through his media appearances. It was reported last month that Salah would be open to a Premier League switch if a new contract with Liverpool couldn’t be agreed upon.
Liverpool is the second-favorite to win the Premier League title next season at +240, trailing City who’s at -160. The same scenario applies in the Champions League odds table as well, with City topping the pack at +275 and Liverpool behind at +500.
